Coaching/instructing Philosophy:
I believe that athletes need to understand the tactical and technical side of the sport at a very high level to succeed, so I place a lot of emphasis on how different techniques play into each other. Chain wrestling, learning multiple options based on the reactions of the opponent, and being able to understand the sport at a deep level are the key points I build my coaching methodology on.

Why Train at Edge if you are prospective student:
Edge is one of the most elite training facilities in the country, and has produced many successful athletes with long healthy careers. The coaching staff here is phenomenal, and I love the positive and supportive environment that has allowed me to succeed.

What does being a coach/instructor at Edge mean to you?
Being a coach means that I get to be one of the many people guiding someone through their development as a person and athlete. It's about giving back, because I gained so much knowledge about myself and about the sport I love by having access to compassionate yet driven coaches that pushed me to find my own success, and I want to be that same positive influence on others.

Hobbies off the mat or anything else you want people to know?:
I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with my family. I am studying to get my Electrical Engineering masters degree.
